Kuala Lumpur, 17 MEI 2016 – Hari UNESCO Malaysia 2016 (HUM2016) will be held on 28 May 2016 at Taman Wetland, Putrajaya with the theme inclusiveness. This year’s approach is to highlight ESC Fest (education, science & culture),highlighting activities associated with education, science and culture in our Malaysian society. Hum 2016 also displays the deployment of elements of fun, interactive and educational to make people more interested in science but at the same time appreciating the rich culture of Malaysia.
The Chief Secretary, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, YBhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Noorul Ainur Mohd Nur mentioned at the press conference that this sixth celebration is a sign of good relationship between Malaysia and UNESCO in promoting and building a culture of peace in the world community. HUM2016 is a platform to inform the public regarding all programmes and activities committed by Malaysia and UNESCO under UNESCO National Commission of Malaysia (SCUM) and creating awareness on the role of UNESCO in developing the community, eradicating poverty and maintaining peace and order.
HUM2016 is jointly organized by The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) AND Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The event start at 12 noon and end 10.30 pm. There are lots of things to see, learn , experience awaiting for visitors.
