40 Die When Bus Overturns In Angola

LUANDA, May 15 (Bernama) -- A total of 40 people were killed and seven others injured in a road accident in the country's central province of Kwanza Sul, Xinhua news agency quoted Angolan police as saying.

The incident took place Sunday in Menga when an overloaded bus carrying people from a mass rally overturned, according to a local police source.

The injured people were all hospitalised.

Police blamed speeding and overcrowding on the bus for the accident.
