Kazakhstan will consider easing visa requirements for Malaysians given the country's aspiration to be a global investment player. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kairat Sarybay said as President Nursultan Nazarbayev is targeting significant developments for Kazakhstan on the investment platform, Astana will consider how it can ease the visa regime for the business community as they are potential investors. Sarybay said this to Bernama on the sidelines of the Fifth Astana Forum. On Malaysia being among the important nations the republic would be enhancing bilateral relations, Sarybay said Malaysia can be a good model for Kazakhstan not only in terms of its economy, but also successfully implemented policies, strategic planning, diversified agendas and multi-ethnic population.
