The federal government has set aside a huge allocation under the 9th Malaysia Plan (9MP) and the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP) to tackle flood woes in Selangor . Deputy Natural Resources and Environment Minister Tan Sri Joseph Kurup said under the first rolling plan of 2011-2012 and the second rolling plan of 2012-2013 under the 10MP, the federal government has actually approved an allocation of RM108.5 million for Selangor, including an allocation of RM24.78 million in 2011 . H e said this when winding up the adjournment speech at the Dewan Rakyat sitting.
