President Al-Bashir Affirms Importance of Cooperation between African Nations to Confront Hegemony and Colonialism

Khartoum, (SUNA) - President Omer Al-Bashir, has stressed the importance of cooperation among African countries and peoples to confront the hegemony and colonialist attempts led by the super  them President Bashir who on Tuesday received at his office at the Council of Ministers the visiting Chairman of the ruling People's Front in Ivory Coast and former Prime Minister Pascal Affe , said that the conspiracies against Sudan and Cote d'Ivoire were being woven by the same forces that colonized Africa and looted its resources.

The President has stressed that these forces were now exploiting the legal bodies to implement execute plots, undermine the national unity and split the African continent. The visiting Ivory official has extended an invitation from the president of Cote d'Ivoire, Laurent Gbagbo, to visit Cote d'Ivoire to review issues of common interest.

President Bashir accepted the invitation expressed thanks to the President of Cote d'Ivoire, Laurent Gbagbo. The Presidential Advisor, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, said that President Bashir affirmed Sudan support to Cote d'Ivoire and its President, Laurent Gbagbo, and asserted the keenness of Sudan to consolidate its economic and trade relations with the African countries, especially the countries that are keen to confront the foreign hegemony attempts In a statement to the press, the Chairman of the ruling party of Cote d'Ivoire affirmed their support to the decision of the African Union which rejects the moves of the International Criminal Court that are in  flagrant violation to all the international charters and Sudan sovereignty.
